With over 24 years of experience in commercial real estate construction and development, Eugene Barber III is a seasoned executive specializing in hospitality-driven development, complex mixed-use projects, and capital-disciplined execution. His career encompasses the entire project lifecycle, from site acquisition and entitlement strategy through design coordination, vertical construction, and stabilized operations.
As a construction and development leader, Eugene has delivered projects across hotels, senior living, multifamily, medical, and commercial asset classes, with a strong emphasis on hospitality standards, operational efficiency, and long-term asset performance. His approach aligns design intent with constructibility, ensuring architectural vision, brand requirements, and budget constraints remain in balance.
His expertise extends beyond construction management into financial feasibility analysis, cost modeling, scope optimization, and risk mitigation, supporting informed early-stage decisions where capital outcomes are determined. He is frequently relied upon to evaluate opportunities, challenge assumptions, and identify latent risks prior to capital commitment.

Backed by certifications in Economic Development and Commercial Real Estate Development, he brings over 20 years of hands-on real estate business acumen to expertly guide all aspects of the development lifecycle.
As a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) Atlanta and Nashville, he is a facilitator for the Urban Plan team. He is a highly collaborative professional who excels at fostering team environments, consistently exceeding goals, and delivering impactful growth.
Joe Shelton
Project Manager
Project Manager with 25 years of experience in the construction industry. Managed a variety of projects ranging from federal and aviation facilities to manufacturing facilities to data centers. In addition to construction project management, Joe has considerable experience in estimating and cost, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control in private and public sectors.
He is responsible for delivering the project from initial conceptual involvement, through design, construction, and commissioning. Joe works with the project team to establish all project requirements and strategies for performance and delivery. He is responsible for leading the team of estimators, contracts, cost control, scheduling, field operations, superintendents and the quality control staff on the project as the team completes the estimating, procurement, scheduling, value analysis, cost control, reporting, actual construction, expediting, inspections, quality control, safety and commissioning of the project.
Shelton Walker
Operations Lead
Shelton earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architectural Engineering from Tennessee State University and his experience as a general contractor has given him unique insight into the design-build process.
Shelton has over twenty-five (25) years of experience with emphasis in project management, value engineering, contract administration, project cost estimation, technical specification, project safety inspection, inspection services, CADD design, project scheduling, land surveying, professional presentations, scheduling, quality control and safety management. Shelton oversees daily operations of the company and the work of our executives (IT, Marketing, Business Development and Finance, etc.).
